COVID-19
For safety of our patients and staff, you will notice some changes when it is time for your next appointment.
For example:
We will be asking a series of questions that pertain to COVID-19.
Any positive responses will require that we postpone your appointment.
We will ask you to arrive to your appointment 10 minutes early. Stay in your car, and call our office (252-753-5516) to let us know you have arrived. If the lines are busy please call again.
We will instruct you when to come into the building.
We will complete a temperature check with a touch-less thermometer. Any patients with a temperature greater than 100.0 F. will be rescheduled.
Our staff will be screened daily as well with the same questions and twice daily temperature screening.
We will limit the number of people allowed into the treatment room to the patient and a parent or caregiver.
Our staff will be outfitted with additional personal protective equipment (PPE) and will likely greet you at all times wearing a mask.
Each patient is encouraged to arrive wearing their own mask or face covering, but we will not have extra masks to provide patients.
There will be plexiglass separators at the front desk and hand sanitizer stations in the office.
We continue to maintain strict and documented sterilization of instruments and thorough disinfection of each treatment room between patients.
Each patients will be provided a pair of safety glasses to wear, if desired, during their procedure.
We are installing an air purifcation filtration system into each of our treatment rooms and reception area.
With these numerous safety protocols, we ask for your patience.
We may be a few minutes behind schedule or there may be less options for scheduling an appointment as we allow for social distancing.
We look forward to seeing you and are happy to answer any questions you may have about the steps we take to keep everyone safe in our practice.
Thank you for being our patient. We value your trust and loyalty and look forward to welcoming you back to our office.
